Backup Camera Wiring

1. Camera Power Cable: Red and Black.

—Red wire to car reverse light positive, black to reverse light negative.

2. Camera RCA Cable: Yellow port.

—Insert it on the radio rear input cable. It’s a single cable with yellow port with label (“REVERSE/BACK/REAR CAMERA”)

3. Trigger Cable

3.1 The trigger cable on car radio: the cable with label named “REVERSE/BACK”

There are two short red wires next to the camera’s RCA port.

3.2 near the radio: the red wire 1: connects to 3.1 cable

3.3 near the camera: the red wire 2: connects to car’s rear light positive.

Here’re some phenomenon buyers usually meet:

1. When pull the reverse gear, camera lights, but nothing change on the screen. When click AV-in icon, I can see camera image.

Reason: Incorrect wire of both RCA and trigger cable

2. When pull the reverse gear, camera lights, the screen shows blue with “no signal” or black screen. When click av-in icon, I can see camera image.

Reason: Incorrectly inserting the RCA port to video input port, instead of CAMIN port.

3. When pull the reverse gear, camera lights, nothing change on the screen. When click AV-in icon, i cannot see anyghing.

Reason: Incorrect wire of the trigger cable.

Vehicles Installation Tips for 10 Inch Car Radio Touchscreeen

Android Car Radio Wiring Harness:

Red Wire (ACC) –To Car ACC

Yellow Wire–To Car Battery Positive

Black Wire (GND) –To Car Battery Negative

Please Note: The yellow wire must connect to a constant power source to keep setting memory.

Key1 and key2 are steering wheel control wires, if your car only has one SWC wire, you need to connect key1 with key2 together to your car SWC wire.
